A cactus dahlia, spiky, pink and wet..........sorry, it's another one so close on the heels of On Fire.
Many thanks for all the kind comments on In Spate.......your time and attention is much appreciated.
Ronnie.

You do these flower shots so well Ronnie, another excellent capture, love the water droplets, no shortage of these this Summer.
Regards
Trev.
a very fresh and pleasing capture, I wonder how you get the DOF from A to Z so flawless.
the colours are superb.
Guess it's back to "rain" with you? I gather it's heading this way too. The details and colour in this image work perfectly. A lovely one. Wide awake once again thanks to the temperature. Just glad I'm not in the SE where I gather they ar due to get some seriously hot weather today, Perhaps there's something to be said for rain after all!!

Stuning image Ronnie, fabulous colours and excellent detail, great composition too

Excellent dof, Ronnie, and the brightness makes those droplets sparkle. Well positioned in the frame and the black bg brings out the colour beautifully.

a very pleasing capture Ronnie love the colour and the droplets always add

A beautiful flower summing up the weather of late nicely.

That's just lovely with the droplets, Ronnie, good title to accompany it, too. I love the way dahlias have graduating colours and are so photogenic. My neighbour's dahlias are looking good, I took a few pics, don't like to intrude into his garden too much.
A gorgeous specimen Ronnie, this reminds me to get out in my garden and photograph some of my fine specimens before the heavy rains and strong winds arrive to ruin them
