Bob the Flower was still about when went through town this evening so I picked up a bunch of Cornflowers to play with. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with them but for now a handy grubby bottle served the purpose.

He says he should have the Scabious in next week - they're grown locally and are very nice. Needless to say I'll be getting someSmile

Lovely image. I like the apparently haphazard arrangement, it suits them well.... Jude

Thanks folks Smile They're not an easy flower to arrange - I sort of point them in the right direction and then hope for the best Smile

There was a bit more headroom originally and then realised that I should straighten up the bottle a bit and therefore lost the bit I had a the top. I don't usually crop until almost last but this time I'd cropped it first - I won't do that again Smile

Up to your standards as usual Grin

Scabious? Down here they're everywhere at the moment. Butterflies love them.

Thanks again folks - I will get around to doing some more of these this weekend. At the moment I'm putting up some shelves in an unused cupboard and treading sawdust all over the place Smile

Alas I have no Scabious in my garden - maybe next year I'll remember to get some in. I buy mine from Bob the Flower who in turn gets them from a grower just down the road in Evesham - I've added a pic as a variant Smile
