The long redundant Caradon Copper mine in South East Cornwall, found this second offering on a memory card, have uploaded a previous version but a different exposure hope this one does not disapoint.

The light here is absolutely fabulous and that has nothing to do with the TV series...John

Stunning colour and light, the old mine looks fabulous and the tree is gnarled and characterful.
Being a bit picky, it feels like a picture of 2 halves. The tree seems to lead my eye off to the left and out of frame. The mine is such a strong piece of interest too and even though there is a diagonal connecting it to the tree it pulls the opposite way. They could both be the main feature in 2 images, one for each rather than combined and competing. Just a minor thought; it's still a spectacular image! Smile

The shape of the tree mirrors the clouds on the right forming a 'V' to the middle of the image. The ruin is quite subdued in the image but this is more about the colour and atmosphere. Lovely image, Chris.
