Another shot taken at the top of the Cotswold escarpment a week ago on Monday when there was over a foot of snow on the ground, hard frost on the trees and freezing fog in the air. This is the same gate and one of the trees that were featured in yesterdays upload

Another brrrrrrrrrrrrrilliant shot (sorry, couldn't resist). We're on the same theme today but alas my locations are less picturesque.

The addition of the gate adds a wonderful well observed balance to this delightful wintery composition, whilst the monochrome processing adds a beautiful softness.

Same gate but change of viewpoint and resultant image; again the cold seeps from the screen from this misty winter snow scene, Ed.

You certainly convey the sense of the cold and the loneliness of the area in this. Great pov.

Ed these snow images have been among your very best.
This is beautiful - nice triangle between fence, gate and f/g frame.

Can only repeat my comment on yesterday's image Ed, these shots are capturing winter's beauty very well, and your choice of B&W is working well too!
