Courtenay has a years long tradition of flowers along main streets. In the spring people volunteer to do the planting and we enjoy them all summer. You can see our Comox Glacier on the horizon by traffic lights. The W/A lens makes it look tiny.

Beautiful photo Tony - you sure live in a beautiful part of the world ! Here in South Africa the government must do everything for us - people won't take initiative like this - they would rather steal the plants from the sidewalks SmileGrinGrin

Same here in Wales, they steal hanging baskets if there is no chain attached, beautiful colours and looks to be a very peaceful town to live in Tony.
