Here's a shot of a model we met last night - Courtney from Canada.
Had my eye on the dark arches below the station in leeds as a decent spot for a model shoot - lots of atmosphere down there
Here's the first of the series anyway - not that I've actually edited any more yet

With that red light behind her, looks like she could stop traffic. Nicely lit. Did you have any assistants or just you and the model?
Hope all is well with you Ade.
Nicely lit and exposed
tres cool garcon
Like the pose and lighting Ade should do well this.
Hi Paul - thought the red light would look pretty cool down there, it's the underpass by the Scarborough Taps
I'm good - think I just ate a bit too much stir fry though
How's you and M getting on?
Oooohh! I love the lighting, the pose, and of course the bokeh!
need an f1.2 really
Everything's peachy. Thanks Ade.
you must be chuffed with this one Ade
A great image. Did you backlight this with a gelled bare flash for the colour? Really like this a lot Ade, one of your best! Great composition, lovely light, great model, good location.....nice imagination.....really like this. Good stuff!
Its gelled Johnny - I've got some Velcro straps that fit around the flash, and little gels that stick to it with velcro spots. I got 3 bands and 30 gels of various colours off EBAY for a bit over a tenner.
Well worth getting, even if you just get CTO gels for shooting in tungsten light
Yeah, got some actually, the other day, along with some neoprene snoots, which I fancy trying at some point. Just was wondering which gel colour you used with this as I only have window green, a blue on and CTO with my set....could do with getting more more......my Vivitars have some beam spreading gels made of plastic, but not sure what they do yet....lol!
Oh and the triggers turned up....absolutely the ticket! Nice one for that info Ade! Much appreciated!
Think this is ace Ade.
A toned down B&W would work well I think, less can be more.
