Ice hunting at Loch Morlich. It was all melting and pretty thin, some folk had obviously tried walking across parts but got wet feet! I balanced on some stones and put the tripod on the ice for this image It was shooting directly into the sun so I took one shot for most of the image and one for the sun then blended them in PSE.

Works extremely well, great exposure for both the shots. Love the little pool of water picking up the cloud reflections.

Nicely exposed. I don't know why people insist on walking on thin ice!!!!!

Cheers Andy. Joline and Diane! Smile The ice can get pretty thick in mid-winter and folk walk right across the loch. However the water is quite deep further out so I wouldn't chance it!
