Yet another from Sunday mornings trip out to Malham with Paul & Fran.
No sign of Father Ted on these, but there was a brief FT conversation in the car when we were heading back, hence the title.
Thanks for looking.
I love the way the low angled light has brought out the texture in the rock - a first class image.
That's nicely captured. Deep
Fantastic image and well captured
Like the early light and good details here.
A strong rule-breaking composition with beautiful low light. Excellent image.
Interesting to read Dave's comment: certainly placing the tree centrally does break the so called rules but it work for me b/o the strong lead in lines converging on the tree, but you have given the image a 1/3 to 2/3 ratio re. land and sky which helps.
Towards the point Neil, wonderful !!!
Rules are meant to be broken aren't they
I do actually have compositions with the tree on the left or right third, but there is something about the shape and proportions of the tree in the scene which mean those tend to look a little 'wrong'. Going through my shots from the morning it is the centrally placed ones that stand out more for me.
Think this particular shot is the best in your series. Very well done.
Excellent image. Paul
Nicely image,well done,
lovely light on the rocks, good image
