Taken on the way home tonight, the sun had just gone down, but there was still a nice , soft light.
Wish i knew the name of these crags..they are on top road between Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire, and Burnley in Lancashire.
8 secs at F22
Beautiful light and subtle colours Phil. What a great view to experience when travelling home!
what a beautiful view. The light is just right.
You are very looking passing these crags on way home from work, very well taken
A wonderful view with superb light.
Is it Bridestones?
yeah!..thats the one..thanks simon
Beautiful shot, Phil, with great depth and wonderful soft colour. Love the wildness of the view.
Your drive home must be so enjoyable Phil! I like the light catching that cottage/barn between the crags and the early evening colours of the sky.
Most unusual light and a most unusual view. Great photography.
excellent-most things have been said.I like the form and colours of the crags against the uncluttered backdrop.
p.s. Just seen it large-upgrade excellent to stunning.
The house seen in the gap adds alot. Quite artisic result, must be the unusual colours. Great work
This is a great shot & the fact you stopped on the way home to takes it makes it even better....there's some great shapes in here &the house hiding between the gaps adds so much interest., nice one
wow...beautiful light, fab viewpoint!
Quite artistic is this Phil. The house with the point of light and window reflections make this for me.
Lovely shot Phil, what a cracking view.
Cragging shot Phil, I love the colours in those rock's.
love the grad from the distant hills to the clouds and then clear sky.
the forground as a hint of glowing light that is spatted around the rock.
a very well composed shot ian
Sensational colours Phil. We see a lot of landscapes on this site, but it's nice to come across something that is wee bit different.
kinda wish the framing was brown and green for some reason...
love that brown in the left foreground I guess.....
beautiful colours and detail on that rock and a great sky, lik the way you can just see the house, great image...jojo
