I find this image very creepy & disturbing because this in fact is a doll but it looks so life like which is why I feel the way I do about it, what do others think?

While in Whitby at the weekend there were some ladies dressed in Goth attire as it was the Goth weekend selling these life like dolls & I do know one was already sold so someone likes them

I agree with you. I was also in Whitby on Saturday but I didn't see these, however I have seen these dolls before in Whitby been carried along by fairly young girls. Like you I find them creepy!

Golly, it's so life-like! If you hadn't told us, Glynnis, I would have thought it a real baby. Definitely creepy. Nice capture, though Smile

Seen them before and they are really creepy. Think a while ago someone on here used to make or sell them as there were a few photos of them. Strange.

Creepy is an understatement! Not for me, I never liked dolls as a child, give me a teddy bear any day! Carol

I was more of a tom boy as a child so never really went for playing with dolls

Thank Goodness I'm not the only one that didn't like dolls. I'm another tom boy. Appartently the only doll I was given was taken apart to see how it worked.

LOL, my Grandad used to bring things home for me to take apart, the favourite was an old music box that he got me to take apart and put back together. I think that's where I got my love of gadgets from.

Thank goodness it's a doll, when I saw the title I thought it was an image of a dead baby, really creepy.

I do not hope I have offended you Jackie that wasn't my intention, I just thought it was very odd that someone would want to make a doll look so real

Yes Glynnis I got a photograph or two of the sellers and these dolls on Sunday morning near the Dracula Museum . Thought them very strange but I suppose very cleverly made . You have captured the doll very well and as Trev. says I would have guessed real if I didn't know differently ....Phil
