I was doing a bun (Bunbeam), a one handed macro! ![]()
I wanted the sunlight and the blue sky as a background and he wasn't being very co-operative, everytime he saw the camera he'd slowly creep to the other side of the leaf - so it just had to be a finger (not the most natural of perches I know). This is a male, Speckled Bush Cricket. I've not seen many bugs lately so this was pounced upon with relish.

Poor woman. Don't they feed you in Devon? ![]()
Well done. It's not easy to keep the focus right like this.
An amazing shot and well deserved of an RC, bit of a sore subject after yesterday's result though...

Good shot... but caught with relish? A new bait or flavouring?
Lovely details.
Wonderful shot, Karen, a great idea, excellent detail and composition too.
Thankyou for welcoming me back, it is very much appreciated.
I love this - the finger and sky make it complete. Perfectly framed too. One of the best nature photos I´ve seen.
