This photo came about most unexpectedly. One morning about two weeks ago, I was about to step into the shower when suddenly I was startled by a red pool on the shower floor! Not the thing you want to see first thing in the morning. What had happened is that my shower gel had fallen off its holder. The top cracked open when it hit the floor, leaking out its contents. I said to myself "there is a picture here". I went downstairs and got a dagger that my daughter had brought home from a trip to Spain. I laid it in the red pool and poured the remainder of the shower gel on the blade. I was going for the murder mystery book cover look..... What do you think?

Thanks again everyone for sticking with me on my very long road trip series. Putting that together brought back some very good memories for me.

Ty

I'm pleased to have read your explanation, you had me worried....The dustjacket of a thriller would do well graced by this striking image. I like the tiny glints of red on the handle and guard of the dagger, they enhance the overall concept.

instantaneous reaction to an immedately presented image deserves the applause. Are you sure its the shower gel Ty?

Serendipitous for sure. Great shot, with much mystery. I showed it to a friend who didn't read the explanation, and she said...oh my God....where did he see that....is that a NY Street scene!!!!!!!! well done.

I'm sure it has potential for a book cover, you just need to find the right publisher.
