Good Evening everyone
Are you sitting comfortably? Then let Chapter Five begin!!!
So, there we were, heading off to Bottallack after my escapades at Porthcurno in the morning. I really was getting VERY cross with myself for my unbelievably strong self-preservation instincts, as I really wanted to overcome the fear of plunging to my death so I could get the shots I really wanted!
Guess what? I was faced with yet another death-defying route down to here!! Well impressed! (NOT!!!) Add that to the fact that Mr (Mountain Goat) Sutton had sprinted off in front, and I was just about ready to throw in the towel!
So - after a temper tantrum and lots of self-pitying petulance, the Boss came to the rescue and not only returned to persuade me to venture over the "bridge", but he was also up for swapping lenses so I could get the image I wanted from the relative safety amongst the rocks
We also spotted someone with loads more sense "up top" with a long lens - wish we'd met BEFORE I ventured down, Daryl, I might have just kept you company and had some time to chat, rather than just a wave in the car park!
The light wasn't with us for too long, and the Lee Big Stopper 10 got a fair amount of use - hope you like this result. I know the Boss has uploaded a mono shot from here, but I'm a pretty colourful kinda gal - so it had to be a colour portraitscape© for me (might have a squarescape© version at some point in the future)
Thanks for your time, have a good evening - just about got week 1 under my belt - won't be long till half-term!
