Playing with the Crocus today - I should have been doing many of the items on my 'to do' list but it's so nice out there that I spent much of the morning ferreting about in the undergrowth tidying, tying back stuff and deliberating what to do with bits of the garden.

Then I thought I'd better take a few crocus pics as by the time I get home from work during the week they've closed up so the weekend is the only opportunity I have. I only picked three - pics of them will doubtless follow in due course - but decided to dig one up - it's now back in the pot hopefully none the worse for its ordeal.

I can't decide which one I prefer so you're getting both.......

Damn - you're all right you know - V2 is the better of the two - ho hum....... Smile

Actually I did rinse the roots off just to see how they looked and it didn't really work - they all kinda clumped together and even when I tried to mess them up a bit they still looked wrong.

V2 Alison.

Oh by the way, I would take a look at the background in version 1.
You have missed a bit just below the tip of the lower leaf. Wink

Steve.

Right - I'm going to wait a week or so and then upload V2 on its own Smile

I've inspected the pic Steve - even duped the layer and used exclusion and can't for the life of me see what I've missed. It can only be a mark on the background as the only thing I've done with this is eliminate the nylon thread it was hanging by, added a bit of lucis and tweaked the curves somewhat. I do know I'm in dire need of a new sheet of white colourmatt Sad

Well I guess I am the contrarian....I like v1. It is a more stately composition, giving the plant more room to stretch.
