Back-lit crocus shoots - a nice mix of sharp and soft, light and shade, with some bokeh seasoning.

Thanks Mary and Saeid and Chris -
Spring is just round the corner, just a bit of sustained sunshine and 20C will do me nicely Smile

Was the muting of the colour caused by flare or is it something you did in post processing?. Whichever, it works extremely well and gives the shot a lovely atmosphere.

Thanks Derek - the muting is purely the result of flare.
I took a couple of shots with the sun behind me which came out ok,
but then laid down in the dirt again to see how it looked, facing the sun, and this is the result - same settings etc, and produces much nicer bokeh too Smile

I did try adding some contrast which just looked wrong, but I did a couple of colour tweaks, just to bring out the purples a bit more.

Love the Bokeh on this, and of course the colour.
