This was created at Crosby on the R Mersey. The wind turbines are actually several miles out, but with the tide being out they had the appearance of being quite close. The sun was setting giving a warm hue across the scene.

Ugly expensive bloody things. They do tend to spoil land and seascapes but this is a good panoramic record of how we have spoiled the Mersey estuary.

I agree, they are the fad of the moment, and look even worse on hillsides. They never seem to be turning.

Unfortunately, by the time they are all removed and solar panels put in, the damage will be done. Then we will have miles of solar panels!

This image is very under exposed. You give us no details, but everything points to that. Even at this late hour, there should be a bit of contrast there. Try brightening a little. See mod.

Thanks Paul.

I think the upload took some of the contrast out as my original is okay

Thanks

The Uk being an area that does not experience either constant winds or sunshine so both wind and sun power are a waste of space. We could of course be trained to turn on our lights when the wind blows or sun shines.
I like this image, you have created a feeling of atmosphere, It would be better without the navigation mark.

Ian
