The entrance to Mudeford Harbour can be treacherous with constantly shifting sandbanks which can cause large and unpredictable waves.
I spotted this one a couple of days back, as one of the small local fishing vessels was approaching the bar this breaking wave suddenly appeared in front of it. As usual, the skipper was skilled enough to avoid it and passed the spot with only a minor roll.
