It has just come to my attention that I am a moron and have mispelled the expression. Should be Cub In Tow. Try not to hold that against the picture Wink I'll just say it is supposed to be a clever pun...

Well, I said it was going to be some more bird pictures, but I got bored with birds. So, lets go to another B animal.

This shot was taken at Brooks Camp, Alaska minutes after we hopped off the floatplane we came in on.

The original picture was pretty dissapointing; low light, poor contratst, and uninteresting. So I tried out a little tweaking in PS and voila. I'm pretty happy with the results
Mom was just lumbering along with her cub frantically trying to keep up.

Oh yeah, these are grizzly bears.

Ha, It never really hit me that I made that mistake. Oh, well I'm sure there are worse things that could have happened. Kind of embarrasing though...

Bears is what I remember you for Ben and this is a beautiful reminder.
Wouldn't worry about the spelling I once named a totally different species!

An outstanding image but I think the title on the bottom of the frame is a little distracting however the picture itself can not be faulted. Superb.

A wonderful picture. Your manipulation has improved it enormously.
It doesn't really need a mod, but I've done you one anyway.

Eric.

It is a beautiful silhouette. And I often make corrections after EPZ'ers point out problems, so don't feel bad.
Patrick

You have done well with this image, looks fantastic. Also great framing and nice. Looks like the kind of image you would have on an advertisment. Superb

How fantastically cute is this?? The way that you caught the cub with back legs up in the air like that is just so delightful!

You have worked this into a top notch image with excellent presentation. We all make mistakes....you are not the first and wont be the last. Well done.

P.S The little cub makes the shot for me just skipping along...sooo cute!

~Alley~

Apart from your dodgy spelling (!) the shot is fantastic. I'm really glad you posted the original, it's fascinating to see what you started with. Nice work.
