Fabulous place and a fabulous image, Rob. Black and white is good but it has to be the coloured version for me today.

A beautiful building (and no scaffolding!). The mono looks good but it loses a bit of sky detail so going with the colour, Rob.

Rising beautifully above the garden, well taken shots, the colour version has a greater impact with the greens, though.

A wonderful place to visit any time and you've captured the castle and its beautiful gardens so well. A really well composed and captured image.

Now, I could live in a place like this! Wink Super capture, Rob, like both versions, but the colour wins it for me - I just feel that the contrast between the blue sky and clouds is a little lost in the mono version, and I would have boosted the contrast in the sky area and darkened it.

Lovely place well captured. I started by thinking that I didn't like the mono version because it was a bit grey and flat so I played with it and realised that it couldn't be altered without first working on the colour version and getting more tonal contrast in that. If you'd like to see the two versions I did (you haven't enabled mods) just message me with your e-mail address and I'll send them to you then delete your e-mail address immediately to protect your privacy.
