First of all a big thank you to Les Forrester and Ian Munroe for the User awards on the last picture. Its a great ego boost to receive such accolades from people I admire so much.

This is from last Saturdays trip to Curbar, well a stop off before heading to the infamous Padley gorge, where I was hoping for something a bit different. The experiment at Padley didn't work, but I got a couple of pleasing images non the less, which may get an outing.

As for this I got a conventional take of this, but I quite liked this version - I was attracted to the incoming cloud, quickly set up the Big Stopper and for once it all came together.I wasn't expecting much fearing too much FG movement.

Its taken a while to get the WB on the Big stopper right in Lightroom, I think I'm about there - this was very blue straight out of camera with AWB.

Anyway tell me what you think.

That's some fine light you got there Nick. Different for being shot with the Big Stopper too.

Grand light , gives great warm tones to the foreground. Love the composition . Must get there some time before the old knee bones give up.
