Been to Bakewell for the weekend with my two best non-photographer friends. While they slept I was off up on the Edges catching the rising sun. Saturday morning I was on Curbar. Met fellow EPZ tog Michael B Hanney up there... we were the only two silly bu**ers putting up with the fierce winds and I really don't know how all my images are not blurred. Anyway.. as I was about to give up and drive the 15 mins back to the holiday cottage, this little (!) beauty appeared and stayed for some time.. breakfast was somewhat delayed!!! ![]()

Lucky lucky lucky - but you only get that if you're there in the first place!
That's dedication.....![]()
Right place, right time, but also superbly captured.

Magnificent image, Timing is everything and you absolutely made the most of it. Just simply beautiful.

Bonnie double bow and you didn't really need the calories anyway after that sight.

Hello Jeanie - lovely to meet you on Saturday, and nice that the rain eased off and the wind dropped to gale foce for long enough for you to get your rainbow. I think I'd already given up by this stage - shows the value of persistance!
