One more day after this and then I will have completed this series.
This set is from South America. Its my least favourite as its rather rococo which generally gives me the shivers!!!
Mary I think is supposed to be kneeling before the baby - she looks as if she is lying down to me.
There are some "cute" aspects about it, but its still not my cup of tea. However I'm grateful to Margaret for lending it to me.

Now I don't know what I'm opening myself up for at this point as I'm about to say "all comments welcome" - we shall see!!

Tomorrow's set is from Indonesia
Thanks for those of you who have not fallen asleep following this series!!

I really like this one, but my Dad lives in South America, so I'm used to seeing their almost twee pottery figures. I really really like the sheep, and I think you've shown us an extraordinary variety of nativities.

The figures are a bit on the cutesy side, but the sheep is fun! Again, very well photographed.

I have very much enjoyed your series. My favorite so far is the wooden set. Amazing to see the different styles.

Definately not my favourite either.
Looks like they have been made out of fondant icing, & I don't like the way they are all looking upwards instead of at the baby.
