A building in Wavertree Industrial Estate, Liverpool. With thanks to Adam (deathraceking) for Photoshop advice concerning the correction of verticals.
Very nice reflections here Eric...the red framing on the building acts well as a geometrical dimension...nice tones and contrasting sky. Well done.
Another super image i like the way the building bends the light.
I like the combination of shapes and the mix of reflective/non-reflective panels on the building catches just the right amount of the sunset. Lovely!
Lovely combination of bold lines and colour aswell as the super reflection. Another well composed shot Eric.
Superb composition Eric. Wonderfully caught very different kind of sunset, great work.
Good composition Eric. I like the contrast between the old square block and its modern equivalent. - steve
The coloured lines really bring this image out, and draw you right into the well-placed reflection. A cracking shot. I really admire your portfolio - apologies for missing some the last few days !
Nice capture Eric. Another good addition to your already impressive portfolio.
Many thanks for your comments and clicks, Doug, Andy, Russ, Roy, Mary, Steve, Grant and Hudson. Good to hear from you all.
great composition and lighting. like the flat screen to the left (far) and bent mirror to the right (near). have a good feel of distance and lines. good job Eric!
Wondeful shapes, collours and reflection making a superb shot.
Wel done Eric.
Very effective Eric. I like the contrasting red lines against the glass.
Like this. Not sure exactly why. The sky is good. I like the way the picture is neatly divided into sections. I really like the middle section of the building on the right, with all the light on it. Nice to see a different part of Liverpool
This is a nice effect. It looks very interesting to me.
Well spotted Eric and well captured. The verticals really are vertical, amazing!
Many thanks for all the kind comments, DA, Richard, Phil, Ian, Carsten and George. Great to hear from you all.
Go past this every morning Eric, and have never thought anything different - until now!
The framing is great and as has been said the picture being divided into 3 sections, sky, red framed building (foreground)then mirrred building in the background makes for a really interesting shot. Gets my click.
I like this very much Eric. Maybe I will use it one day.
Many thanks and very well done.
A great feel to this one Brian. The red lines are a bonus on this lovely sunset .Wonderful evening sky . The whole image has a 1930's feel to it . Must be the curves . The flat building fits well into this composition . A good click from me .
Thanks for your comments, Phil, Brian and Mavis. Good to hear from you all.
I love the sterile, almost Ikea looking buildings and the way they contrast with the sky and reflected sunset.
Interesting to see an 'indirect sunset'! Maybe you'll start a trend!
Another cracker Eric, love the light and the reflections. The curve of the building with its red lines makes for a very interesting image.
Thankyou, Gary. Good to have your comments.
Thanks a lot, Louise. Great to hear from you.
Very nice colour, geometry and reflection. Excellent shot!
