Lovely expression. I do notice that there are 2 catchlights in the eyes - don't know if this matters.

So I guess unavoidable? Interesting though as I always thought one was desirable 'classically' - actually the only place I thinkit really distracts is in the lefthand corner of the right eye (the one on the left in the photo) - where it overlaps with the white of the eye.Darkening just that corner might get rid of the distraction.

The expression (eyes and mouth) of the little one is priceless here. Think the darkness of daddies face and shirt don't complement as well as the soft tones of mommies skin in tomorrow's (yep, I'm working backwards again) upload.
