Thanks again friends for all your comments and votes, I do take note of all constructive comments! That is the best way to learn, today another taken at Duffryn Gardens, sorry but do not know the species, I would be grateful for the ID if any one knows. Changed the title, thanks to Ronnie Carol and Ann for the ID, I am terrible with names of flowers.

Lovely colour contrast of the flower against the sky and a nice soft vignette too.
Not sure how you processed this Trev, but it works a treat. The flower colours and light just glows and the sky background is perfect. Excellent presentation as well.
Dave
did it take you long to get back up from taking this shot Trevor....pov works so well and the vignette adds

Thanks everyone for comments votes and ID. Dave used the Adjustment Brush in Camera Raw to lighten the centre and the same tool to saturate only the yellows this tool is excellent, then cut out the Dahlia using Topaz Remask, and placed it on this sky background, I have a file with about 100 different sky,s, finished off with a Vignette frame using OnOne Photoframes, about one half hour. Sorry Graham but my bending days are gone.

Trev.
I am up for arty stuff Trev............... but something about this doesn't work for me, I just prefer a naturel bg I suppose, but the light in the sky conflicts somehow with the light on the flower making it look a bit strange.............. Just my preferance though. The flower itself is great, would like to see the original shot.
Hope you dont mind my view. I always appreciate your comments.

Thanks everyone, Diane an LED ringflash was used hence the two different light sources, the sky was taken in 2006! No problem at all! I am teaching you well, say what you think and do not get into the situation of, you say great things about my photo (even if it is not) and vote for me, and I will say great things about your photo (even if it is not) and I will vote for you. Too much of that on the site.
Regards
Trev.
