Iíve had these pictures hanging around for ages, so thought they would make a good Saturday Shadows upload.
These are a long row of tall sculpted rusty daisies outside the Alhama De Murcia Archaeological Museum, Murcia, Spain, set against a plain wall.
The shadows were as strong as the daisies themselves.
I tried different angles, which are shown in 4 versions, but I have led with my favourite, the straight-on one.
Pamela.

Four interesting images which all make for great viewing. However the straight on composition works wonderfully and would make for a great print.

V1 wins for me, for its simplicity.
I like the wall textures, you couldn't have asked for a better natural 'texture layer' background. But I think I'd get rid of the occasional vertical lines in the wall, I assume joins between blocks. For me they move the background forward, when it ought to stay back.
I look forward to your sculpture/artwork uploads, they're always stimulating.

Moira's comments always seem so pertinent, Pamela: V 1 is so striking even as a thumbnail, and each of the versions could happily sit in that slot.

Unusual image but pleasing to the eye....like the old feel. Love the Murcia area heading back there in 4 weeks, love all the little villages and markets. A part of Spain that hasent been turned into bars and loud mouth yobs....

V1 is my fav too as it is so simple but very effective. The shadows are so sharp they don't look like shadows but another set of daisies (if that makes senseTongue). Great workWinkGrin

Maybe it's just me being a simpleton but I am SO glad you included V4 'cos I found it so tricky in V1 trying to sort out the shadows from the originals, Pamela! Blush

Beautiful shadows, both in their pattern and darkness!

Like Andrew I too found it hard to distinguish between the real flowers and the shadows. A first class set from you as always Pamela and v1 was the perfect choice as the lead. I'm surprised Mikbee hasn't dropped by as these are of his favourite type of flowers!Grin

Oh.. how lovely. I love them. Yes, "the straight-on one" is my favorite as well. Beautiful image, I think that V1 works in my mind is because it's 'natural', as plants grow straight up..
