Lovely dog. Great boxer fan myself, currently got two. Like yours they do spend a lot of time on the sofa.

Regards, Stuart

With Daisy against a white background like this, - either add exposure compensation, say + 2/3, or use a fill flash to brighten the dog.

As banhawi has said the exposure needs a tweak however I am sure you could pull this back in processing although best to get right in camera first. The ball is also distracting due to its bright colour and does distract from the fabulous expression you have caught of Daisy Duke.

None the less the composition is spot on and the portrait has everything going for it with the expression and head angle.

Huge thanks for the above comments. It was my 1st day with my new lens and camera so was just testing it out on my favourite model.
Will have a sit down and think about my next series.
