I have a few versions of this taken at different stages of the sunrise. Other versions reveal a bit more detail through the mist but I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this one which is taken from a favourite viewpoint overlooking Wharfedale.

Cheers, and also many thanks for all your great comments on yesterdays photo.

Have a good un, Dave.

Lovely effect on the trees and I like the colour and shape of the hills but there does seem to be a bit of dead ground in the middle third. Would that be removable (or reduce-able) in photoshop?

Dave

Cheers Dave,

Thats along the lines of what I was after. As I say I do have some other shots taken the same morning where there is a bit more detail to be seen through the mist (including the middle ground) though I quite liked this for it's simplicity. It was pretty thick with it that morning but I think the location is still recognisable as The Dales, (or I would hope it is anyway)

Cheers again, Dave.
