I must say I've never heard of a Bloodhound called Daphne before, such an old ladies name for this big animal.

PS. Story of dogs and the sea. When my daughter came back East from Alberta, she brought her dog with her, he loved going into the water, dashing around in the shallows then having a long drink. Needless to say, he knew nothing of sea water, took his usual drink - if a dog can have an expressive face, then he sure did that day Smile
