Number 4 from the weekend and one from our walk up to Twistleton Scar.. The weather started off wet but we were blessed with some great light once we arrived here.. was worth getting up early for.
Angie, Dougie, Katy, Mark, David, myself and of course, Jura all wandered up to the pavement and bumped into Fran, Paul, Richard Wheeler, Melanie M, and Mr & Mrs Edgar..
Lunch, once off the top, was at the Marton Arms, down the road from the pavement - thoroughly recommended if you like plates the size of bin lids for a very reasonable price Smile

Love the contrast between the rather dark sky and the light on the foreground.

So - two groups of EPZ members, and not even for an official meet. We're really dominating the photogenic parts of the UK's landscape sometimes, aren't we!

Works well in portrait format. Like the contrast between the light rocks in the fg and that threatening sky, and the way the tree is almost in silhouette.

Lots of "clicks" - one for the main image, one for those gorgeous, gorgeous images of Jura (I think I'm in love) and another for the willpower and fortitude of all those people in their efforts to eat their way through such obscene piles of food!
