This is what it looked like this morning.
V2 is a mono with a little addition.
Then the weather changed and it was really quite warm and sunny this afternoon. When I was working outside in the garden I had to take my coat off. Go figure!

The light is more effective, because more subtle, in V1.
Either way it's that thin, straight line of light reflected along the water's edge that makes the image work.

V1 is lovely, but for me V2 does it today - there's something so mysteriously surreal about the b&w version with the addition ... a bit like the Narnia lamppost, but without the snow, the rest of the woods and the dodgy faun! Grin
