Many thanks for the votes and comments on yesterday's Large White, as alwaysyour feedback is greatly appreciated.

I was hoping to go hunting for Chalkhill Blues with Ben this weekend but the rain has put a stop to that. Here's a Dark Green Fritillary from a few weeks ago when the weather was much better.

A top class macro Nigel, such wonderful detail, colours, clarity and composition. The chalkhill blues aren't out in Gloucestershire yet, they are always later over here because of the high altitude
