Hi everyone many thanks for C&C's on yesterday's image - Cocoon Steps. Tony pointed out an optical illusion there, the steps are actually at the highest on the right going down to the left!
Today I'm uploading 2 more views along the side of the Cocoon including a mono version of each. If the sun had been out there would have been some great shadows but trust us to go on a grey day! Have to back again soon.
To give you some idea about the area, the NHM website says: "The landmark Darwin Centre is now open to the public. Museum visitors can explore world-class science in action in a dramatic new public space.
The Darwin Centre is a state-of-the-art science and collections facility. The building is the most significant expansion at the Museum since it moved to South Kensington in 1881.
Interact with the science of nature like never before in the new state-of-the-art cocoon building. Take a self-guided tour and witness real specimens, incredible displays and animated interactive activities. Get up close to scientists at work."
Thanks for looking.

Hi there neighbour
Think I am going for the colour tones today
Tho' do like the mono as well
Morning Barbara, what a super set of images, for me its between V1 & 3, though I do like the mono versions, I do like the simplicity of the composition in both images, very well taken and resented.
Hugh
Not a great deal in it between the tones of colour and the monos, but you know what I'm going to say, of course - has to be the 2 colour versions for me! It's just that tiny touch ouf colour which lifts the, for me. What a vast sense of space your images show too.
Ann
Excellent captures Barbara, the colour versions for me.
Scott
The figures make all the difference in this,
Michael
Excellent images, and I love V1 with the splashes of pink.
Carol
Excellent set, Barbara, can't decide between the colour and the monos! Like the inclusion of the figures. Sounds a great place for a visit, too.

Brilliant set of images - I like the removal of the pink in both cases, but the monos loose those lovely metalic tones, so I'm a bit on the fence in choosing a favourite with these
