Two beautiful variants, however I rather like the colour the best Kathryn, although your image seems to be somewhat over exposed causing the back ground to be blown out slightly one can still enjoy the beauty within.

Both really good - I agree with Nathan re the over exposed areas - but to me this just makes the beauty of Daseep stand out more. Fingers crossed you win! Smile

I'd go with colour, too - although both are very good.

I can't make up my mind which version of Daseep I prefer, so 1/2 vote to each.

I personally prefer colour when it comes to wildlife images Kathryn, especially with daseep and the beautiful rich golden colours....good luck with the competition

Given it's a wildlife competition, I'd go for the colour one. Having said that mono is different and could catch the eye, but I remember you saying a while back this would be for a calendar (I hope I've got that right and it's the same competition) so colour would be the choice.

Hi Keith. Different competition. This is with photography monthly magazine to win one of eight places on a day at WHF. It's a big cat competition so no shortage of images, just what to enter that will catch their eye is the question.
