Sunrise at Curbar Edge yesterday morning. It all looked so promising at first. Mist ebbing and flowing in Derwent Valley and a nice bit of colour in the sky, but cloud blotted out the sunrise. Eventually the sun climbed above the cloud and at least offered a little bit of early light, albeit a bit harsh.

Superb lighting and atmosphere. Great composition. Just feel as though I could reach out and touch those rocks. Love it. ![]()

Beautiful contrast between hard and soft here, Andy.

Like those earthy colours in the foreground - and just enough light to make in interesting.
