A portrait view from my recent Peak District shoot. Thanks for looking and have a good week.
Cracking shot !!!.....remarkable near 3D effect.....impressive !
What a beautiful image! Ann.
Thanks Keith. It always helps when you get strong separation between the elements but I'm really pleased you mentioned it as I was hoping it would turn into a 'reach in' sort of shot.
This is a Brilliant Landscape
The outcrop fits in the valley well, Alun, the converging diagonals give a strong 'X' to the composition. I like the last rays of light catching the foreground grass as well.
Absolutely stunning image
That triangular spur pointing down the valley creates such a strong fore and middle ground structuring to this shot, Alun, and a shot which any of us would be proud of.
Magical Alun what more is there to say!
Beautiful image, I love the foreground you can almost imagine yourself standing at that point taking it all in
a beautiful shot Alun, your composition really takes you into the scene, and a stunning capture of the sun with a starburst to be proud of.
(would not have known about the bluebells if it wasn't for one of your earlier postings, cheers for that, its a beautiful place for a walk.)
Like the good comp and light here Alun.
Wow I love this. I am back in UK for a month and I hope you can take me to this spot Alun.
Ah, just realised it's in the peak district. Thought it was in s.wales.
Hi Yung. Wish it was in Wales. Many thanks for your UA. Chuffed
Beautiful again. As other's have said, the FG triangle makes for a strong statement as well as pointing the way in. The subtly lit terrain features and field patterns create lots of depth and the sun makes for a great FP. Outstanding.
the landscape unfolds like an endless quilt, enchanted by that magic sun and the natural frame of the valley.
It's a good location this, but not that easy to shoot well, as there aren't that many good foregrounds. You've done a great job with this though Alun.
Great Landscape excellent image and colours it kind of draws you into the photo well done Alun.
Alun, truly stunning image mate, from the capture of light leading out from your f/g through those rolling slopes full of silky green tones all finished off with a super sky.........very cool in my book.
My hands getting better every day......can't wait to get back out.
Well composed, I likes it
