Fishing boat taken at Nedd, Assynt, a couple of weeks ago and taken at the worst time of day in very bright sunshine (Sad) - comments and criticisms are very welcome.
Thanks for looking and special thanks to Walter (gajewski) for his precious UA for Ardvrek Castle!

These lead in ropes carry you straight to the bow: nicely done despite the harshest light conditions, Ann.

A double lead-in, the two ropes are almost like the perspective on a roadway leading to the distance. (Does that make any sense at all?) I like the fact that you have the ropes hitting the bottom corners left and right, but the boat itself isn't centrally placed. There's a tension in that... Balanced asymmetry.

Very well composed Ann with those ropes to guide us in
and the red calls out to be noticed. This boat maybe wouldn't have made such impact in a sunset image.

Everything works so well to make a dynamic image. I love the red of the boat, the two mooring lines falling into the bottom corners, the debris on those lines, the smaller boat on the right for balance, the off-centre placement of the red boat, and the way you've placed it between the two rocks in the background. Very well executed under difficult lighting conditions.

Lovely image compositionally, the light is very bright as we know already, the rubbish hanging from the mooring ropes is so typical of all little harbours around the coast.
The Scots are dreadful for leaving rubbish behind them.

Superb composition, Ann, the mooring lines from the corners are so strong, and the aerial comes down to complete the tripartite. Your pov gives a lovely perspective as well.
