Hi Arista. Try these Camera settings. White balance to Auto, Exposure Comp to zero. Metering mode to Spot. and give it another Go Please Ok???

yes, great expression.
John is right.. not that the white balance matters. I use for portraits a green filter in the b/w conversion, just as I used on the lens in the old times.
