The Brandwag Butress in Golde Gate. The sun sets behind me as the storm clouds gather behind the Butress. Maybe not the best of comps, but with fast changing lighting conditions, didn't one to take to much of a chance and miss the fabulous light...

Thanks for looking.

Bruce.

Really lovely shot Bruce. Excellent viewed large. So much mood in there, and very dramatic. Great work.

Right time, right place. You definitely have some beautiful scenery down there. This would be perfect for HDR. Lots of contrast and details in the darker areas.

Another one you looked behind to see, Bruce! The central positioning of the buttress is superb, especially as it stands out so brightly against that dark sky.

LOL - Yes, the right type. I just did one that came out really natural looking, just as I saw it with my eyes. So it can work. Definitly give it a shot. Or at least for now, take multiple exposures that you can 'HDR' in the future.

The problem is with most landscape photography is things tend to move a about quickly; light, trees, clouds, waves, grass etc. So until this "New" version of Photomatix that is capable of resolving this issue, my HDR tests will be kept to interiors for now Smile
