I'm still busy sorting out my old files, so please excuse my absence from the gallery for a while.
Here is a pair of delightful day lilies from my garden. It's quite sad that they only last for one day, but they do produce a lot of blooms.

Like trumpets sounding up to heaven. This is an extraordinary composition with that blue sky beyond. A terrifically positive, joyful image.

I think the sky background makes them stand out and look great - I would of prefered a slightly lighter sky tho
