Whilst the bright yellow Vantage V8 pretty much stole the show at Geneva Motor Show last month, the DB9 still looked stunning. I liked this shot as it showed two constrasting faces of the "new" Aston Martin - the traditional green DB9 and the bright new V8! The shot's far from perfect, but I liked the overall effect...

Nice one, though I think the composition is probably slightly off (personal taste) and those highlights on the yellow V8 are distracting, though as it was a motor show you probably had no control over that.

A very pleasing image and well controlled.

I like the shot, very creative. Shame about the highlights.Maybe a crop to the edge of the highlights might work. 10/10 for your creative eye.

hey steve,

great shot. love the concept (and the cars).

if i was going to be picky steve, i probably would have gotten a little more square on to the badge.

the d and b are out of focus, i think it would look better if the whole badge was in focus.

other than those small picky bits, i love it. could be a photo in an aston martin brochure :o)

click, ads :o)

Hi Steve. I like this - the viewpoint works really well. I agree with the comments above but overall this is very effective.
cheers, Paul

I agree about the reflection of Vantage, and yes, it couold do with a bit more sharpness on the badge. But I like the composition. It's very effective.

Excellent shot with great DOF & the central focus point being the No 9, Superb.

For me the shot would work even better if the yellow car was not there just its reflection, the yellow is to strong. Thats my opinion though and down to my own taste. On the whole though this shot is good and it shows you are looking for that different shot.

All the best
Paul
