I live in Devon, and this wreck has been on our local beach for as long as I can remember. I often wonder what kind of a life it had, where she's been and who sailed on her.
She's still beautiful though, in a sad sort of way.
Nice colours, I like the composition as well, well captured
lovely colours on the boat Tracey - I would be tempted to crop the lh side close to the boad as the other boats are distracting
Oh yes, I hadn't noticed that! I'll do it!
I like shots of old boats and this one is great! The colours and textures are very good.
Well composed and captured image of an interesting subject.
Good composition... there is something very photogenic about delapidated, solitary boats :o)
A well weathered boat.nice
great shot, always sad to see these in such a state but it makes for a great image.Have similar shots myself.
sad to see such neglect, but this is a very fine image
Like the texture detail and the wet sand surrounding this beautiful wreck.
Well but daring cropping with the sloped horizon.
I agree about the boats being distracting, but personally I would clone them out in preference to cropping, and altering the conposition.
I know about old wrecks being one myself but you have caught this one nicely lovely tones, colours and nice crop
I cut and cropped a bit of sand and smudged it in. You would never know they were there, and the shot looks miles better! Thanks Guys!!
NIce vibrant color!
Boy that's squint with a capital S!.........nice subject though.
Good pic' and title,
Welcome to E2!
Lovely shot Tracey, we are going to Devon in a couple of weeks whereabouts is this?
It's at Braunton Burrows. The beach is called crow point. it is beautiful, especially the dunes!
Ps Have a lovely time when you come here!
Super contrasting colour in this. The boats in the background are distracting as said previously. I would also be tempted to try this again but from a lower viewpoint even if that means lying on your stomach. That would push the wreck into the sky and if possible use a wider angle setting on your lens.
Thanks David, I'll try that.
great colours and contrast, very well caught
A great shot and good strong colours. You have a good eye for a pic Tracy. Well done.

I agree with you about the boat. She is still beauiful.
Great shot...i would get in close for some abstract..peeling paint etc
Good angle of approach. You caught in quite a bit of the boat showing us the full wreckage. Well seen.
Hi tracey nice shot i think beach shots are great.

proberly looks better like that than it did b4 , nice shade of blue on boat allmost matches the sky
Nice shot of this old wreck
Nice study of decay, good colour.
Wow, I was just surfing randomly, and saw this at the bottom left, you know, previous photo thing, and thought 'that looks wicked' so checked it out and its you. Excellent. Love it!
