It looks like half a dead fish...which for some reason is a thought twice as revolting as a complete dead fish! Lovely foreground light and detail that doesn't distract from the distant mountains.

Damn! I meant to take some pics from inside the boathouse and forgot 8-# You've just reminded me 8-]

However. Yes I can see the dead fish and how did it get there .. unless it leapt out when three leapt in ..

Beautiful exposure - caught the smooth ripples on the lake and those splashes of sunlight. Composition's pretty cool too.

I've been accused in the past of 'positioning' dead leaves in strategic places for foreground interest. Not so with dead fish Grin
