An island on Loch Assynt - quite a few of these around - some of the trees dead like this one. Canisp is the mountain in the background.

A most eye catching image and composition with the verticals of the trees cutting across the horizontals, Geoff: and the winter colours and sky make for such an attractive shot.
Ronnie.

The perfect number, and they cross the horizontals nicely, as Ronnie has pointed out.

Instantly recognisable - the old Scots Pines now defunct and Canisp showing through in the background. Super composition and lovely (Assynt) light!
