heres the last image from my d80 before the strap got tangled in the quick release and somehow managed to let the camera fall into the sea in slow motion.
constructive comments and new shiny camera & kit greatly appreciated.

Lovely shot, sorry to hear about your camera and lens.Hope things work out soon.
Tom.
Horrible story, the 'slow motion' bit really rings true. Commiserations from a Nikon household! And it's a good shot too, love the composition and use of vertical.

Really is a Superb Shot...!
I bet that's the last camera YOU get as an Xmas pressie if that's what you do with them... lol
Any luck you'll be able to upgrade a bit when the insurance pays out. I find that cheers me up a bit.
Tony...
PS Have an Award on me...!
hah thanks tony,
i was absolutely gutted when it happened, managed to get it out the water within a second but the damage was already done.
memory card dried up fine so atleast get to mess about with the pictures till the insurance is sorted.
Love the lead into the light house with the rocks
My husband knocked his arm on the door framed while carrying is film SLR a fews years ago the camera fell to the ground that was then end of it, when the insurance paid out he went DSLR & got the Canon 300D (never looked) so may not all be bad
hope you soon get a new one
