This was taken in Nicosia, Cyprus, near the Northern border. Many of the buildings in Nicosia, remain untouched, as they want to preserve their history and heritage.
I quite like the colours and textures, which were enhanced in PS.
1/80 secs @ f/5.0 hence the soft focus as I forgot to remove my polarizer! ISO 100
All C&C welcomed, please let me know if you think I have over enhanced the colours and textures, as I have the tendency to do that. I love colour and texture!
Thank you,
Taya

I agree with you David! I was with one of those tour groups, and didn't get enough time to stop and compose! That's what I hate about group tours!
Jo, thank you for the mod, it is actually a lot better! I'm still learning new things with PS 1. Although, when I did sharpen it via unmask (think it's that one), it didn't really make a difference! I also agree with you on the white filler! Hmmm... really should have done something about that myself in the first place!!!
Thank you

Wonderful textures, great atmosphere. I like the warm colours, too. Really well spotted. I do find the white repair work a bit distracting, but it's still a lovely image.

Jo, lol, you didn't mess it up, you improved it!
Jouko, I totally agree with you, and it's something I do on a daily basis! I'm curious as to what you are thinking about!
And, thank you all for your kind and encouraging comments. I value every one of them, as I never want to stop learning.
Thank you,

This is a great place for pics Taya, even doors look interesting. I`ve uploaded a mod, hope it has`nt changed the feel to much. Think I should get out more, lol.

Paul, LOL I think I'm ashmed of my PS skills and my eye for detail lol! But the funny thing is, when I tone up details on my music shots, then tend to tone them down, so I get a bit worried! But, Paul, I love your mod too and everybody has issues with my plaster lol!!
Thanks Paul,
Taya
The soft light makes this look great. I'd also include a little more room at the top.
