A certain Mr Pooch, who shall remain nameless, mentioned a few images back that I must have one of the most colourful portfolios on here. Well I thought I'd better put a stop to that and this is the result. I can't see this getting much attention.... it was fine before I messed with it - nice white cat with unusual different coloured eyes, lots of decay in the background walls and beautifully aged wooden doors. But, it just bored me, I've done so many of the same type of shot over the last years that decided something different had to be done and if no-one likes it except me, well c'est la vie!

Love this cat. Very exotic with its smokey eyes. Great grungy look.

WOW! Would be a wonderful mono print. I especially like the framing and what you done to the eyes.

Pascal has picked out the elements that appeal to me - I'll add that shadow/stain on the wall. This really is quite dark and sinister. A walk on the wild side. Good to see that you have the creative juices flowing again.

I like this one a lot, both for treatment and subject.
Not so sure about the eyes, I would have liked to see some more details.... but it seems I'm the only one... Smile

That's ok, Francesco, I'm often the "only one" too. It probably wouldn't have worked bringing out the eyes in this particular shot though because the cat had its eyes half closed so I would have had to 'cheat' a bit and use some eyes from another cat (and that would have been far too much effort!) Smile

Psycho/Vertigo/The birds......Cats !!! The clipped highlights add to contrast and the framing with the texture makes your composition unique, no more cheese late at night for me, just a look at your pic will do the trick !!

I'm not sure what the processing was, but it really suits the cat and the picture!
