"Nothing special today my internet friends". A very ordinary still life kindly donated by a three rather dehydrated hydrangeas stuffed in an old Sloe Gin Bottle. I did however think about the colour of the backdrop and delved into my huge piles of fabrics to pull out something which would compliment the colours.

Whilst I a still in muttering mode I shall take this opportunity to thank you all for commenting and voting on my rather indifferent upload yesterday entitled 'Dunking Apples'. "I hope that inspired some of you good people to have a go?"

A special mention goes to Morpheus1955 (Hugh), pmeswani (Prashant), Tibetan (Leon} and last but by no means least (EAS) Ann for their extremely welcomed User Awards.

I hope that you all have a great day ahead, as of yet I have not got a dolly, what my day will bring.

Regards Nathan GrinGrinGrin

The colour coordination works well here, nathan, and hydrangeas in particular do retain beauty even when past their best, even when the colour had totally faded.
You have done a fine job here in setting up this floral still life shot and captured it with your customary elegance and skill.
Ronnie.

A beautiful still life, Nathan, hydrangeas are so photogenic, both rehydrated and dehydrated Smile. I love the colour of the background, too, most apt when you say that the bottle the hydrangeas are standing in is a sloe gin bottle, simply yummy SmileSmileSmileSmile Carol
