Good Morning

Well the wife is loading up her Egrets this week, so I am holding off putting up mine. So those wanting to see shots from the Sigma 50-500mm will have to wait a few days, not healthy to compete against the wife! Wink

Well I went out to the local river last night to get some shots of Demoiselle so I would have at least something to post. I was really amazed at the various color combinations there were. Anyways, I will be posting these the next couple of days until the wifes Egrets run out, hope you like them.

Greg

Another cracker Greg, well done.

Superb detail, I like the slightly dark look to the whole image, it makes it feel more art than science, if you get my drift!

Superb again Greg......Shouldn't worry too much, I have enough owls and kites to last me well upto to Xmas if I was that way inclined....
This one's another stunner mate, but why so dark?.....Or is that just me?

Beautiful shot! The darkness of the picture is very different.
How on earth were you able to capture this? They fly away as soon as you breathe....

I like the dark look here. I can still see the details even on my high-contrast work monitor. Speaking of work..

Hello Greg.
I took a while to study the large version.
Really exceptional sharpness. Perfect in all details.
Wonder what distance you took this from.
Great capture.

Superb capture Greg - I found it a little dark, but better in the large version.

The reason it is dark is that this is a dark area, I used flash. This is tall grass in the middle of the river on a small rock island if you will. There were clouds over head and the river is surrounded by trees on both sides, not much available light to use.

Greg

Great capture,well done.
