Deptford Pink 2

I returned to the Deptford Pink patch for more images and was astonished to see this tiny grasshopper lounging on one of the flowers---

Depending upon how you measure grasshoppers-- the flower is just less that 1/2 inch---

And in Scotland we thought we had grasshoppers that were 3 feet long.
Until we discovered they had been on the whisky and were suffering from hiccups !!
